I graduated with B.A. (Hon) in Economics from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2009. After working at the Department of Transport and Logistics Management, Faculty of Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka for one year, I came to US to pursue my doctoral studies in 2010. I completed M.A. in Economics at Clark University and PhD in 2016. Since I am passionate about children of the developing countries, I divide my time between academic research, teaching, and volunteering for organizations focusing on community development and child well-being.
